  Hard Drugs, a cross between Johnny Cash, The Modern Lovers and The Replacements, is lead by songwriter Jeffry Lee (Blood Meridian). "JLee" as he is known, plays guitar and shares vocals with his lovely better half and co-founder Jenni Lee . As the comparisons suggest, Hard Drugs has a traditional caste to their material. Their performance is also close to their roots. Rarely today in the rock genre do you see a more honest presentation. Beyond first impressions, Hard Drugs encompasses a depth and an irony which stems from clever, hard edged song writing that is immediately timeless. They have done their heroes proud.
